At OSSYK Labs, design is a process of discovery. Founders and designers Tiffany Leong and Nartay Ualikhan examine the structures found in nature—bone, mineral, and glass—to develop forms that feel both organic and deliberate. This exploration of anatomy and material integrity shapes the identity of each piece, resulting in objects that are both sculptural and functional.
The name OSSYK takes inspiration from the Kazakh word асық —the small ankle bone used in traditional games and rituals. No two are ever alike, each shaped by nature into something uniquely its own. This philosophy extends into our work, where elemental forms evolve into timeless objects.
Each collection is an extension of this research, refining elemental shapes into objects that shift with light and space. With origins in Shanghai, OSSYK Labs embraces a global perspective, offering a new approach to contemporary homeware—one that values precision, raw materiality, and a quiet sense of presence.
